For those who thought the same old design and the lack of revolutionary innovations in the 3rd generation of Apple iPhone will hamper its sales, you are wrong. The iPhone 3GS (S stands for speed) has sold over 1 million units over the weekend (3 days).
When the iPhone 3GS released there were no serpentine queues outside Apple stores, how then did it sell over a million units in no time? Well, the home-delivery orders that Apple took up this time around, must have helped..!
For those unaware, the Apple iPhone 3GS released on 19th June 2009 in 8 countries; USA, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. In the next 2 months, the phone will release in more than 70 countries.
